This is slow flow yoga for those of who have experienced a TBI or concussion and their caregiver.  

It focuses on gentle yoga to increase strength and balance, meditation to decrease stress and enhance mental clarity.

Why yoga and meditation?  

Yoga and meditation have many healing properties and have been shown to change the structure and function of the brain by:

  • Improving attention by increasing the thickness of the prefrontal     cortex associated with focus and decision making

  • Assisting memory by changing the structure of the hippocampus

  • Enhancing self-esteem

  • Reducing mental fatigue and stress

  • Boosting strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility
